Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th February ~ Bristol Classic Bike Show

We had a small Stand at the 2-day Bristol Show in Shepton Mallet, Somerset: one of our bikes on display, a totally original 1921 Model 2, was given a "Highly Commended" Award.

Sunday 16th June ~ Banbury Run

We had a very successful day with our display alongside the start line of the Banbury Run at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Oxfordshire.  Six New Imps took part in the Run itself, and all returned safely in lovely sunshine (despite the weather forecast of rain!).

Sunday 7th July ~ National Rally

We had our National Rally alongside the Velocette Owners' Club at the Lichfield Rugby Club, Cooke Fields, Tamworth Road, LICHFIELD, Staffordshire, WS14  9JE.  We had rather a disappointing turnout of members, but the weather today was mostly fine, and the mid-point shower didn't put anybody off.  Two awards today in the non-Velo Class: David Jarvis won 1st prize with his 1935 GP, and Dave Baddeley won 2nd prize with his 1935 Model 37 ~ Dave had ridden down from Crewe on his machine.

Sunday 21st July ~ VMCC's Founder's Day

On a lovely sunny day, we had a Stand at the VMCC's Founder's Day event at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire.  There were more than two dozen members who visited the Stand throughout the day, and on display were ten machines that provided lots of variety.

October ~ Pioneer Run

Some of our members hope to take part in the 2024 event.

Sunday 27th October ~ AGM

We shall hold our 36th AGM at the George & Dragon pub in Chacombe, Oxfordshire: it's followed by a rummage for spare bits and pieces outside in the sunshine (usually!).

OTHER EVENTS

Participation by members at other events is planned, for instance at the Graham Walker Run, the Levis Cup Trial and the Saundersfoot Rally: more details will be published when known.
