EVENTS FOR 2018

February 3rd and 4th ~ we had a Stand at the 2-day Bristol Classic Bike Show in Shepton Mallet: we came 2nd in the Club Stand awards, and a Model 6A won Best Vintage
Sunday 18th March ~ there was quite a lot of snow again this year, but some New Imperials managed to take part in the Pioneer Run from Epsom to Brighton
Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd April ~ we join with the South Hants Velo Club on a "boys only" Girder Fork weekend run to France
Sunday 17th June ~ we shall have a static display at the Banbury Run, British Motor Museum near Gaydon
Sunday 1st July ~ we shall have our National Rally (alongside the Velocette Owners Club) at the Burntwood Rugby Club, Burntwood, Staffordshire. It will be possible (and quiet) to camp there the previous night, and take part in the VOC's organised rides in the afternoon on Saturday, and join in for the BBQ that evening: all for the bargain price of 10 per tent/caravan. More information for members is on the Forum.
Sunday 12th August ~ we shall have a small display at the Popham Mega Meet, near Basingstoke in Hampshire
Sunday 21st October ~ our AGM will be held at the George & Dragon pub in Chacombe, near Banbury in Oxfordshire (01295~711500). It's about 1.5 miles from Junction 11 of the M40 motorway, and is very easy to find: at the roundabout, take the turning onto the A361 signposted Daventry; after mile, turn right (signposted Chacombe). After 1 miles, take two left forks and the pub is immediately on the left: the car park entrance is immediately before the building. We meet for lunch first from midday, and the AGM starts at 13:30. You can bring along any spares to sell or swap after the meeting.
Participation at other events is planned, for instance at September's Levis Cup Trial and the Saundersfoot Rally, etc. More details will be published when known.
